Zoë Hurwitz

Training: MFA Design for Stage and Film, New York University Tisch, 2019 

Zoë Hurwitz originally trained in Fine Art at Chelsea School of Art before working in production at the Royal Court Theatre, where she was inspired to retrain as a designer. Hurwitz was given a scholarship to study for a MFA in New York and since graduating, has been working professionally, assisting and designing for theatre and film in New York and London.

London work includes: Peckham The Soap Opera at the Bussey Building/Royal Court Upstairs; Lovesong of the Electric Bear at the Hope Theatre (Off West End nomination for Best Set Design); We Anchor in Hope at Bunker Theatre.

New York work includes: The Xander Xyst Experience at Ars Nova; Sing, Goddess at Here Arts; Fucking A at Yale; Production Designer for the Assisted Living Series.

Recent assisting credits include The Blue Man Group Speechless tour and Lincoln Center Theater.
